While much of the previous review is true, we were surprised how much traffic used the drive which passes the CL you can see in the photo. This spoils the peace of the site as there is no fence and we felt like we were in a goldfish bowl. In my opinion this makes it unsuitable for children as they would need to be tethered! Also when booking we were sent an email with attachment clearly stating 6.50 a night, however we were charged 7.00. We had very wet weather but the ground stayed OK and we managed to drive off without issue. If you like TV or radio we found the reception poor. This is an OK CL  but for us the traffic spoilt our experience.

I just wanted to add a quick comment to advise that I have been in touch with the owners of this site as they were concerned about the comment about the peace being spoiled. They have advised me that this site is on a working farm and is located beside a private farm lane, not a busy road and while there is some occasional farm traffic the site is peaceful and safe.  There are no fences as these would obstruct the enjoyment of the view.
