A great place BUT…..
A fantastic site for ambience and views. Walking the dog through the fields surrounding the farm was a treat - best dog walk ever! Noisy when farm machinery working in the yard directly behind the pitches but this didn’t last long thankfully. However, a big issue for me was the chemical disposal point which was literally a very large overground circular vat with a screw top central opening, which meant leaning at full stretch to empty the cassette over an open lagoon of spoil - yuk yuk yuk. It was half full when we visited in mid-May and splash back was a danger every time. Quite disgusting. Can’t believe no-one else has mentioned this; I am not squeamish but this was not acceptable to me.
