Lovely peaceful site

Stayed for a week at this site. Cannot believe we were the only people there for the whole week. Pitched up and got settled then Howard came out to introduce himself. Water and electric on every pitch which was very useful. Although you are not far away from the A30, the site was so peaceful. Easy to get to, small amount of narrow lanes but plenty of pull ins. Would definitely go again when we go to Cornwall.

Early September 21

We had 8 night stay here in early September. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Lovely Sloping grass site and you will need to use levelling blocks in most locations, its about 1 mile off the A Road which goes into into Newquay, so easy to get to other places. Make sure you use the directions - We pull a large twin axle and had no issues. Site was well maintained and plenty of space between pitches. The only two minor issues was the double gate entrance is overgrown once you enter the field greatly reducing the width. And as already stated in another review - is the chemical waste could do with clearing to make access easier and a new lid with a handle. but they are minor observations of the site when everything else is so good. Quiet , peaceful, great views, well kept grass and full 16amp electric hook up, We would return to this lovely site

Aug 2020 stay

Just had a great 6 night stay here. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Lovely little site, just a small drive from the A Road, so easy to get to other places. Make sure you use the directions - the lane off the A Road towards the site does have a sign that states 'Not suitable for long vehicles' - but it is fine, with plenty of passing places until you get to the field. It's further along that long vehicles would struggle. We particularly wanted access to Newquay and St Newlyn East skateparks - which was perfect! Will recommend and return in the future.

Lovely site

Hard to imagine you are so close to Newquay and all that goes with it when you can stay here with peace and quiet and beautiful views. Well maintained and plenty of space between pitches. If I had slight gripe it would be that the chemical waste could do with a wider clearing of grasses to make access easier but that is a minor quibble when everything else is so good.

very nice quiet location

Quiet , peaceful, great views, a full 16amp electric hook up, Close to Newquay, supermarkets and shops, Owners very friendly the site does slop and you need to use levelling blocks. just over a mile of the main road. Follow directions in book. We will be returning
