It will stay long in the memory, we will be back.

Everything about this site is excellent from the scenery, security, facilities, peacefulness, cleanliness, and local walks but especially the hospitality of the hosts, Donny and Priti. We will definitely return hopefully before the end of the year.

EXCELLENT GEM OF A SITE

My husband and i and our 2 dogs went to this site for a week and ended up staying an extra 2 nites. Cant say enough about this little CL and the owner Donny - he couldnt do enough for us. Donny met us on arrival and we were given a choice of field to pitch up on and he went through everything with us. My husband went fishing on the beautiful, well kept and well stocked lake and managed to catch a 17lb common carp amongst others. SIte is so quiet and idilyic and very secure - spent many an afternoon watching parachutes comming down from the local parachute centre. We loved this site so much that we are going back in October. It is highly recommended. Ally, Chip, Duke and Fizzy August 2020

Great site

My wife and I stayed here for a bank holiday weekend and found the site to be excellent. If you are a fisherman then it is ideal for fishing on the lake. Whilst we did not fish, we enjoyed watching others fish and caught the sun set over views of the lake. Donny was extremely welcoming and during our stay he offered a curry evening where we paid £6 pp for lovely vegetable curry that his wife had made earlier in the day. The site was very well located for exploring the local coastline and we visited Knott End and Morecambe during our visit. It is on our list of sites to return to.

Beautiful location

We found the site absolutely gorgeous with a view to the lake and the abundance of birds amazing, Donny was extremely helpful getting us settled in and we had a field to ourselves, would definitely not hesitate to stay here again if in the area. The showers and toilets are spotless and brand new, really peaceful and relaxing.

Very peaceful setting

We stayed at this site for its proximity to the motorway whilst en route to Scotland. The site was exceptionally peaceful and scenic and although the toilets and showers seemed to be a work in progress they were more than passable. Donny and his wife were very helpful and friendly, I would be returning to this site for future visits to the area.

adequate for our needs

On way back home from a stay in Scotland, stayed here for two nights break. We were on the Bowland site which had 3 pitches and very uneven ground. It did not help that the two other people had spread themselves out and taken most of the ground and there would have been problems had we decided to erect our awning. The two toilets spotless although not exclusive but shared with anglers on day trips and the shower although exclusive did not work but took the pound coin. Plant tubs and hanging basket had long dead plants but otherwise site kept neat and tidy. A quiet location and enjoyed fishing on the lake. Would look for another site if in the same area.

Great CL

This is a wonderful CL, very warm welcome and friendly. The whole site is well organised and very clean. We enjoyed a lovely peaceful weekend 8/5/15 pity the weather was not better. A big thanks to David for his help in getting our van off the field. No hesitation to stay there again
