Thornton Nursery CL
A very peaceful site within the village of Thornton. Ate/drank in the 2 local pubs [The Reservoir Inn a gastro-pub, the other Bricklayers Arms with good food and more "local". I prefered the Bricklayers]. Convenience store open until 8pm.
Dave and son Ben run the nursery and a v. friendly and helpful. The nursery itself has a small, family run cafe.
Shielded views over the reservoir, the site has gravel-graded hardstandings and hook-ups, all in a secluded area of the nursery.
Lots of local walking; hourly bus from 100yds away, 40 mins to Leicester centre.
