This CL is right on the Marriots way cycle path We used this site in 2019 in a really hot spell the grass was yellow it was glorious out each day cycling the trail
It was a unique entry system here where you phone a number given to you by the owner while outside the gates and it recognises your number and the gates open for you.
We will certainly use this CL again
Absolutely no complaints here Fully Recommended
A great CL site
This CL site has a really nice feel, flat and lawned. Easy water and EHU. Easy access. An interesting story of the old station house. Lovely owners who made us very welcome.
Charming, Peaceful and Relaxing
Warm welcome from Tim on our arrival. Lovely peaceful site, with plenty of walking and cycling tracks. Village five minutes walk has a patisserie where fresh croissants can be bought for breakfast. (It opens at 7.30 am). Beautiful church.
Claire greeted us later in the day armed with leaflets about local events and venues. Could not fault it and we will certainly return. Barbara, Robert and Izzie, the Miniature Schnauzer.
relaxing
Having returned from this lovely site a few weeks ago we have already booked again, lovely level site, easy access and plenty of wildlife, ajoining the Marriotts Way which we loved biking both directions. Claire and Tim very friendly and a really good info pack. Eggs when available. Highly recomend, Rita, Paul & Ollie the cat
A fantastic little Gem
We chose The Siding due to it being adjacent to Marriots Way where there is a very good Geocaching trail and we were certainly not disappointed.
Right from the off it was just what we hoped for and more. The grass was short, there were plenty of trees and hedgerows, birdlife, insects, rabbits and peace and tranquillity! What more could anyone want?
We stayed for 4 nights and were very lucky to enjoy beautiful weather and spend lots of time enjoying the countryside.
Claire and Tim the owners were so welcoming, sharing lots of local knowledge and information and lending us a folder full of maps and booklets of villages and local attractions.
We can not rate this CL highly enough and have plans to return again and again.
Thanks to our hosts for maintaining this little Gem

Very friendly, great cycling location, watch the rabbits.
A charming site, in a secluded spot, but convenient for the village.
It was once a railway station, and the owners live in the old station building. The site is a lovely grassed area where the end of the platform would have been.
Its located right next to Marriotts Way, which gives you off road cycling links to Norwich, Reepham, Aylsham and Wroxham.
The grass is kept trim by the resident rabbits, which are so cute when they come out in the evening!
The welcome from the owners was really friendly. I would really recommend the site.
If you like anegg for breakfast
Easy wide straight entrance. Sheltered by hedge and trees. wonderful hosts-all you have to do is ask. If like us you are looking for a 'chill out' with heaps to do in the neighboughood without hassle, then hey, I shouldn't be telling you-please don't spoil it.

Our ideal site
Such a lovely tranquil place in a rural location yet within easy reach of all the joys that North Norfolk has to offer, The Siding is spacious and welcoming. It is only a short walk away from the village of Cawston with its local shops and facilities. For the more energetic there are many walks and cycle rides to be enjoyed. To complete this idyllic picture, the owners are both friendly and helpful. We can't wait to return.

Our favourite CL
We have stayed here several times and and it's the best CL we have ever stayed at. The owners Tim and Claire make everyone welcome and are very helpful. The site itself is spacious, easy to drive onto and park, and everything a caravanner or motorhome owner needs on a CL is to hand. Cawston is an attractive village with a good general store and post office, and a cafe and patisserie, All Things Nice, which would not be out of place in France. There is a bus service to Norwich, so no need to brave its traffic, and the Broads, the coast and the Norfolk countryside are all in easy reach, starting with the Marriots Way running alongside the site. We keep coming back.
