The welcome was warm and very accommodating. The new facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean.
However the all night extremely bright light somewhat spoiled our sleep., and the Elson disposal point was somewhat concerning. It is a grid in the carpark that is at ground level that opens to reveal the sewer pipes from the pub. UGH.
Could easily fall in or drop items into the pit!!!
The site felt a little squashed together with the new glamping squeezed in to the edge of the field and the route to the toilets very close to the end site.
Rhosgoch, tranquil and beautiful
We found The Ring via Google Earth and as we were wanting to venture back onto Anglesey, we chose this as our first spot to spend a couple of days. 5 hook up pitches at the back of the pub/eatery, backing onto open fields. Extremely well maintained facilities. It is very peaceful here, just what we wanted to kick start our little get away. We were gutted we couldn't spend a couple more days unwinding, but the site is booked up. Never mind, we will be back. Thoroughly enjoyed our two days here.
Excellent pub site
Behind a great pub - friendly, good food with a good varied menu, 2 or 3 real ales. The pitches are well looked after and very pleasant. The toilet and shower were a bit tatty and unkempt when we were there (hence only 4*), though there was a notice promising a refurbishment in winter 19/20.
If you're a dog owner there is a downside in that the only walk from the site is along the road verge (there's no footpath). Although the road wasn't busy, it meant you have to keep a tight lead on your dog. The solution we found was to drive 3 minutes North, where a disused Shell tank farm is. This is popular with dog walkers and has lots of space for them to safely run off lead. (53°23'40.6"N 4°22'43.2"W)

Faultless
used this site as a stopover and refuel, water etc.
pub food was brilliant, good prices and massive portions
site was clean and grass nice and short and cut regularly
facilities good
would stay again if in area
staff friendly
Pub staff very welcoming - great wee gem of a site!
We booked this as the last site in our 2 week stay in Wales. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Stayed 5 nights, would of happily stayed longer.
The toilets and shower are basic, but clean. And the shower was the best I've had on a site for a long time. Piping hot and lots of water...and all included in our £13 a night fee.
Would definitely recommend. Although watch out, we ended up in the bar a lot more than we ever planned to!! Food is decent too.
Fantastic location, great pub food
Stayed at this site and it is a very quiet and tranquil with lovely views of the surrounding area. Was greeted with a warm and pleasant welcome from the owner Mark Gibson. The pub on site serves great food and local real ales. It is close to a lot of areas of interest would really recommend Parys Mountain copper kingdom which is about 3 miles from the site for a walk around a very interesting historical mine trail. Local beaches are fabulous and it is close to Amlwch for the local supermarket. Newborough forest is located on the opposite of the island but only 30 minute drive away and really is a must too. Nowhere is too far to access from this very central location. Ideal for couples or families and great area for your four legged friends to explore aswell.
