We decided to stay a few extra days after attending North Essex Centres Pre Season Dinner at nearby Chelmsford, scanning the sites handbook we came across ‘The Paddock’ a quick telephone call revealed that spaces were available and we arrived an hour or so later at this beautiful location with a stunning lake in direct view of our pitch. The site owners were very welcoming and friendly, we felt very secure with coded entry into the site. Jason’s recommendations on local eateries were spot on, we can highly recommend‘The Cod Father’ in nearby Sudbury, Suffolk’s best fish and chip shop. We opted to eat in, the service was second to none and prices very reasonable. We walked our dogs daily around the lake and enjoyed chats with locals fishing.
