What an introduction to CLs !!
After over 3 years of staying on typical Touring Park sites, we decided to try a CL for our maiden voyage with our new folding camper. What a pleasant surprise!
The Mill House site is huge, the grass is very well maintained, and as other reviewers have written the loo is small but is kept clean throughout the day.
Nigel made us most welcome and informed us of the local attractions - including The Admiral Hood PH which is just a short walk from the site. We enjoyed a lovely meal there where the friendly staff made Donata, me and our German Shepherd Dog Freddie very welcome.
The one slightly negative comment I have to make is that the road along side the CL can become a little noisy especially when groups of motorcycle enthusiasts pass by. But that is no fault of the CL, it is just the result of others enjoying themselves - and as 'retired' motorcycle enthusiasts ourselves, it is not a criticism of them.
We have just booked another CL stay in a few weeks time. We will be very happy if it is nearly as good as this one.
