Chose this site on the basis of being able to visit Lichfield. Site comprises of four hard standing pitches and grass pitch area at the rear of the pub. Each hard standing pitch has own tap and electricity supply. There is a designated dog walking area. The pub serves decent if expensive meals. Our great disappointment was the very inconsiderate neighbours who constantly banged their car doors for 45 minutes very early one morning. The pitches are screened only by a hedge and offer no buffer to noise behind. The same night, the local children were allowed to play out in the pub garden and use play equipment until 12.50 am. When I spoke to them, they glibly told me they didn’t go to bed until 1am until the pub closed! For this reason I would not recommend if you want your rest. It was very stressful having children shouting and screaming at that time of night! This is a shame as overall this is a nice site effectively having a super pitch but we value our rest while away.
