We stayed here for a couple of nights in order to break a long journey home, visit Rutland Water and to meet up with friends who were also booked in at this site. From the brief time we spent there we knew we must return and are making plans for a longer visit towards the end of summer. The C.L. is well laid out and has five flat hard standing pitches contained within a fenced and grassed area. The facilities include a small log cabin, on site, housing a washing machine and ironing board, and free internet connection whilst patronizing the café which is less than 100 yards away. Rutland has much to offer with its picturesque villages and pubs and rural landscape and this site makes an excellent base to explore it from. April 2013
