Lovely peaceful CL

Keepings is in a Beautiful location and really friendly owners who gave us a great welcome, toilet behind bungalow is very clean, nice walk to village pub (3 Greyhounds) very doggy friendly where food and service was superb, very quiet and restful site, no roadways so might be an issue getting stuck in wet weather also no mains hook up which didnt bother us

The Keepings is the perfect CL for off-grid peace and quiet

My wife & I just spent a wonderful peaceful weekend at this CL between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster. We were able to pitch wherever we liked in a large, gated, well-kept field shared on this July weekend with just one other campervan. The site has the most spectacular views over the Severn Valley to Clee Hill and Wenlock Edge and the nostalgic the sound of the steam trains drifting up from the valley below was a delight. The villages of Alveley and Arley (each has a pub or two) are each roughly a 1 mile walk in opposite directions along quiet lanes and the 297 bus from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth (Mon-Sat) connects all the towns & villages on the east side of the river with each other so it's a great site for motorhomers, as long as you're happy with the walk to the bus stop (approx. 3/4 of a mile). This is a working farm and the owners of this CL are working hard to diversify their business, the CL opened last summer and a couple of barn conversions are works in progress, they are the nicest people you could wish to meet and very helpful.

Perfect CL with stunning Views

Just returned from 6 nights at the Keepings. Ian and Becky were most welcoming and helpful throughout but not intrusive. the site is a large field, with some slope on it, but kept immaculately and recently cut. Fully enclosed which enabled us to allow our dog to roam when we were the only unit on site. If peace and tranquillity is what you are looking for, then its here. We could here the sheep bleating from about 5 fields away and the skies were full of birdsong of all types. The views are stunning, we have visited CLs for the last 7 tears and this is by far the best, 360 degrees across the Shropshire and Worcestershire countryside. The site is very clean , has good water pressure and a waste disposal. there is also a toilet for use available in the back of the bungalow. The entrance is easy allowing to come off the road before entering the gateway. The lanes to it are narrow but no real issue and less than a mile. In the area there is far too much to do, we visited the Rock Houses at Kinver Edge, Dudmaston Hall, Kidderminster and looked at the Severn Valley Steam Railway but had to leave that for next time. We will certainly be back again, probably next year, so we can enjoy this super site again. Thanks to Ian and Becky for a great time

Peaceful retreat with amazing views!

Had a wonderful weekend stay here! The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful but left me to enjoy my space. It's a very spacious site, really just an open-plan field at the moment but plenty of room. Easy to find and close enough to Alveley and the main road, but far enough from both to be lovely and quiet. The view of the Clee Hills is AMAZING as were the sunsets and stars! The field is well fenced and gated so absolutely perfect for dogs; nice clean loo and sink too. There's a lot to explore in the immediate area - Severn Valley Country Park is literally down the road near Averley, there are TWO arboretums, and Dudmaston House and Estate all just a few miles, a little further and you've got West Midlands Safari park and the beautiful Wyre Forest. Some good cafes around too! Only slight issue is that it's a slopey field so bring your levelling blocks (the owners said they will have some available to borrow in future)!
