Lancashire Best Kept Secret

This really is a gem of a camp site. If you are after a nice tranquil place to stop in the heart of Lancashire this is it. Add the lovely welcome you get from Mrs & Mrs Fletcher and the immaculate clean facilities this is a site you will keep coming back too. For those who just want peace & quiet the site is perfect, for any keen anglers the site offers the option of fishing, alternatively you can explore the lovely walks around Beacon Fell Country Park. The town of Longridge is just a short distance away from the site. Longridge is a great small town to explore with a few pubs, cafes & coffee shops. Slightly further away is the historic town of Clitheroe with its twelfth century castle lots of pubs, cafes & coffee shops also a small market. Other attractions to consider are the Bowland Wild Boar Park, Waddington Village, the old roman settlement village of Ribchester & the small town of Garstang. Me & my wife have been coming to The Horns Dam for many years and will continue to do so.
