And great pub food too!

We spent two nights here having just bought a motorhome. We were met by the owner who had earmarked our pitch with our name. Later we had a meal in the pub, which was excellent, if a little pricey but worth it, atmosphere very friendly. Everyone was helpful, re bus routes, places to go, and where things were located. Overall we found the site very good, reasonably spacious. (Part was closed due to heavy rain). Easy access, but the owner advised between 12 noon and about 2pm the pub car park gets full so need to bear that in mind.

So Sorry

Hate to be negative but the view on this CL is the back of the pub and the pub car park, must say we did not hear any noise .We did not go in the pub as dogs were not allowed in.However the village is very nice, every one keeps their gardens and surrounding area pristine, but there are no shops. You have to go to Northallerton which has a good market on Saturdays.Did not see much of the owner when we got there a man in another van came out and told us to look for our name pinned to a tree.
