Ardderchog! / Excellent!
We have just returned from seven nights away in our MH, four nights of which were spent at this superb CL (The Beeches CL). We were warmly welcomed and well looked after by the owners, Martin and Amanda Fatek, ensuring that the entire stay was most relaxing.
This is a well maintained and secure CL that is within an 8 min walk to Cam & Dursley railway station, enabling you to catch a train to Gloucester (12-15 mins train ride) or to Bristol etc. A well stocked SPAR store at a petrol station in Cam also sells some local farm produce, and is a brisk 25 minute walk away.
The water pressure is excellent, and you get a daily allowance of 10 units of electricity per day. Any additional usage (as per individual pitch meter) you pay for before departure. We did not skimp on electricity and by the end of our stay we were 6 units under the allowance.
We used the CL as a 'base' to visit Gloucester, Berkley Castle and the WWT Wetland Centre at Slimbridge.
This is a CL that we will certainly keep on our 'favourites' list! Undoubtedly a highly recommended CL that C&MC should be delighted to have listed in its Handbook for use by members.
