A Hidden Gem

This site is located on a working farm and 'Farmer Ross' was extremely warm and welcoming. We even received a card welcoming us to site!  This all worked together to make us feel at home straight away. The site is surrounded by ponies, chickens and goats in the foreground and beautiful hills in the background. The farm is a dairy farm and 'Farmer Ross' is very happy to take you around the farm showing you the new born calves - some only 24 hours old - to the milking herd. All very interesting. It's ideally sited to sightsee the north Devon coast through to Exmoor, and is in the middle of the Tarka Trail: a 35 mile ex railway line which has been given a hard surface that can be used to cycle or walk, which takes you through beautiful scenery and being all on the flat, ideal! (bike hire is available locally).  All in all a site I would throughly recommend and will return to. And all for a very reasonable rate of £12.50 a night, which stays the same throughout the year.  A bargain! Wishing Ross and his family continued success with this 'Hidden Gem'.
