An excellent new site.
We spent a week here in early August, and found the site easily, the security of a locked gate with your own key was a nice touch. The pitches are laid out a little too close together for my personal preference but as the maximum number of caravans on site during our stay was three, this was not an issue, but I would feel crowded if the site was full.
It is a nice site backing onto fields and we had the pleasure of watch a family of Buzzards hunting and wheeling above us, and a glimpse of a Roe Deer on the tree line.
The site is located for easy access to many local attractions such as Cricklade, Bourton on the water, and Marlborough, all worth a visit Several good pubs locally, serving good food the Vale of the White Horse inn at Minety well worth a visit.
The local road is noisy, and someone has already mentioned that the local racing wannabes use it as a racetrack. This can be noisy, but not excessively intrusive. We will be back.
