Excellent Stay Once again
Excellent stay once again, this is our second stop here and wished we could have stayed longer. So handy for Matlock & Matlock Bath, Bakewell and Chatsworth, Views to die for excellent pitches and Super Service pitches. Going to try and fit another stop in before October, Thanks for a great time see you again soon Clare and Mark
Really beautiful CL with basic facilities
We visited Tax Farm in March 2016. The site is basic but excellent. The views from the pitches are fantastic, take a look at their website and you will see what I mean. The photographs of the pitches and views are 100% accurate - no crafty camera angles, just honest images. We will be using this site as our local regular weekend away this year.
Each pitch has its own water supply and grey waste disposal, along with EHU, so if you have the necessary pipework and adaptor kit, you can connect your water and drains directly. There is also a toilet waste disposal point on each level.
It is a good walk to and from the local pub, 2-3km with some steep sections, but to be honest, we were quite happy to stay on the site.
Outstanding
Have just returned from 4 nights, such a nice place to stay, the views were outstanding, yes the approach road to each level is steep but worth it. Minimal leveling needed due to the hard work done by the owner to make things easy for you. Very well thought out pitch, and a very friendly owner. We are regular visitors to the area and this is by far the best site we have found and will be coming back.

Fabulous
We stayed here for 5 nights in August, and we really did not want to leave. We live very close to it, so we will be returning as often as we can.
August Bank Holiday break
Just returned from a very relaxing weekend on our first visit to a CL. Access road a bit steep but managed ok. Would like to confirm that CL's are inspected as a very pleasant gentleman from the CC paid a visit to the site. Owner on holiday so did not meet them but had informed us of this and of local walk etc. Will be returning.

A beautiful CL with outstanding views
We visited this CL for the first time during April 2016. An excellent site with outstanding views, in fact you can see for miles over Derbyshire. The site is a good location for easy access to many local beauty spots. Mrs Wright, the owner, is very friendly and gave us a very warm welcome.
This is a very nice CL.

Just returned from three nights at this gem of a site .
Great views and good facilities in a secluded location.
The access drive could be a problem due its steepness but were reassured by Joolz the owner that they could help with there 4x4 if needed.
We hope to be back soon

Beautiful location
Just had a fantastic weekend at Tax farm, the owner Joolz was very helpful.
The views were stunning and the surrounding area.
Can't wait to go back. I would definitely recommend this site.

Just the ticket
From arrival to departure the site was perfect owners very helpful. The views are fantastic across the valley could not wish for a better site. Perfect weekend walking Will return
