Stunning views

Stayed September 2016 . The approach is a bit rough but worth it. First impression was what a view, shame the grass is so long. No one around so pitched up where we wanted to make the most of the view. Found the facilities, a little rustic and not clean. We cleaned it got rid of the wild life and donated a sweeping brush, supplied toilet rolls and cleaning materials for everyone including farm workers and people walking by and put a lock on the door. Just wish we had a lawn mower!!! It is a lovely site to walk from lots of footpaths. The site just needs a bit of love. We were quoted £15 a night which I thought too much for facilities however when we went to pay it was reduced to £11. About right for what was there. The tea shop/restaurant in the village was lovely and look forward to visiting the new gallery opposite tea shop when it opens.
