Not a very informative welcome but did tell us how to get the bus into Windsor number 16 bus takes you straight to the castle . Great place here for plane spotters! We did see some red kites which was nice, there was a river walk but we couldn't find that . £6 a night no electric and tv reception was good a few shops within walking distance . Would have liked a more friendly welcome .
Poor response
Sadly, despite several attempts to contact the owner by telephone and email we received no response.
Perhaps they are no longer running the CL.?
Follow up by the club would be useful

No response from owners
We have called and emailed on numerous occasions. We are now just a couple of days away from our potential arrival. Will have to look elsewhere. Such a shame, location was ideal.
We have asked the club for an update as it's obvious there must be an issue, or it's closed.
A good basic CL
Stayed here for 1 night as we were in the area and wanted to visit Windsor. It was a toss up between here and the coach park in windsor itself, we were glad we chose here and not the coach park.
The site is an easy 5 mile flat ride into the centre of town, where there are numerous places to lock up the bikes.
We were then able to go back and have a BBQ where as if we had chosen the coach park (it was full of cars when we cycled past) we couldn't.
nb, all of windsor is subject to aircraft noise

Good value basic CL
This site is open and was easy to find and with good access. Fields all around the CL and footpaths with nice walks from the site. My husband did not like the sound of the planes going over every minute to land at Heathro,w but they are quite high and it did not bother me. There are farm sounds, dogs barking and some machinery, but it is a working farm. The sewage facility was in an adjoining field where young cows were grazing so you had to step carefully around the service point. The grass had been cut but the grass was left so you needed to remove your shoes before walking into your motorhome or caravan. There is a Londis supermarket and a few shops within walking distance (as you turn into Stroud Farm Road). We did not see the owner at all, so there was no official welcome. This CL is in a good position for visiting Savill Garden, Legoland and Windsor and at only £6 per night is a good value, basic CL.
think this cl must have closed
Wanted to stay but after three phone calls, over a two week period, with no reply I can only guess that it no longer exists. Shame as it was in a handy location.
Fantastic Basic CL
We stayed for 3 nights (July) and used the site as a base for LEGOLAND and Chessington. Very large field which is flat, very easy access onto the field and local village well stocked shop within a 5 minutes walk. Will return at some point to explore Windsor and visit LEGOLAND again.

Great place to visit Legoland from
A genuine basic CL. Nice big field which is pretty level. Ideal for us to take our grandson to Legoland.
Be aware that it is on the flightpath to Heathrow, but that didn't bother us. Easy access to site. No electric hookup. Well of the main road. We liked it so did our puppy!
Great for visiting Windsor
Wanted to go somewhere that would enable us to cycle to Windsor and this CL definitely ticked that box. 90% of the trip is off road around Eton Dorney and was a lovely cycle ride of approx 6 miles.
The site itself is basic but easily accessible and flat with plenty of space. Will definitely go back. Great value for money.
Good LocalPlacesOfInterest
We have just spent the weekend at Stroud Farm, the grass was very short and the site a good size. We caught the bus into Windsor on the Saturday morning and walked along the path by the River Thames to Eton Dorney on the Sunday. We hope to return and bring bikes next time as the cycle path alongside the Thames to Windsor was clearly signed posted.
