So peaceful

What a lovely site this is. Easy to find though if you come via Fordingbridge be careful of the right hand turn into the road as it's on a bit of a blind bend. Nice level pitch with plenty of space to keep private if you wish. Elsan and water good. Site surrounded by trees and polythene greenhouses so no view but that didn't matter as it was so quiet with only the sound of the birds. Easy to get to different places and if you turn right out of the site it takes you into the New Forest and when we visited there were loads of donkeys with their babies. If you turn left to the main road then right it takes you to a pub, I've forgotten the name but over a cattle grid, which is on the edge of the New forest and does nice meals. On our visit there were horses and donkeys with their babies everywhere which was great. A friend was staying on the site next door but said they would book here next time as it was noisy there. If we were in the area again we would consider coming back here to stay. One of the owners became ill whilst we were there so we hope he is better now.

Great CL in The New Forest

We had a lovely warm welcome at Strawberry Farm Nursery CL, which is tucked away down a quiet lane. Its a large grassy area with plenty of room for all units, surrounded by mature hedges. The pitches are all on well drained grass - we had appalling weather but it never got muddy. Plenty of local walks if you don't wish to take the car/motorhome out - you don't need to go far before you're into the wilds of New Forest moorland. Thoroughly recommended, we will definitely stay again if we're in the area.

Little Gem of s Site

Just spent an idyllic week here and we couldn’t have been happier. Grass perfect, easy levelling, sheltered and surrounded by roses. Being situated well back from the road this site is very quiet and offers cycling and walking opportunities just a few miles away in the New Forest National Park. The farm sold eggs and veg plus we found an excellent farm shop and cafe a few miles away - Hockeys -where we bought meat and other supplies and enjoyed their excellent coffee in the cafe. The breakfasts looked and smelt amazing there too! Mrs Chamberlain at the cl is very welcoming and obliging and obviously gets lots of repeat bookings - a recommendation in itself. Definitely a 5 star place.

Excellent CL

We love coming to the New Forrest and staying on this CL just enhances the whole experience. A very warm welcome awaited us and we were told we could have any pitch that was vacant so we were soon set up and having a brew..The site is so peaceful with a variety of birds to see and hear it doesn't take long to unwind.. Centrally situated for Salisbury, Ringwood or Southampton which is only 40 minutes away. But for us the main reason for coming was the Forrest and what an ideal spot to explore it from. As an added bonus the veg that was grown by the owners was superb as were the free range eggs..To sum it all up, what a gem, very much recommended

just what we wanted.

We called looking for last minutes availability for a weekend late July. How lucky we were, got the last pitch. Arrived Friday, out for a stroll and stumbled across the Foresters Arms in Frogham for an idyllic beer or two seated outside. It was the Frogham Fayre the next day so we went back, walked out into the New Forest and came back to the pub for a late lunch. Site was just what we wanted, electric hook-up, water, chem waste disposal. Farm had beans and tomatoes you could buy and owners very friendly. Will be going back.

One of our favorites

We have been coming here for years and we just love it. Always a friendly welcome from Shirley & Jason. The site is always immaculate and plots nicely numbered and spread out. Shirley grows her own and there is always a good choice be it eggs, tomatoes greens etc. Right on the edge of the beautiful New Forest, it is a great base for exploring the area, with the lovely town of Fordingbridge a few miles down the road. Highly recommended by us who must have been going there for about 10 years. Thank you Shirley & Jason. Jan & John Buchanan. Selsey West Sussex.

Beautiful New Forest

We visited this CL for 6 nights in mid April 2016. We were met on arrival by the owner and given the choice of the two remaining pitches on site. The site is as good as all the previous reviews say. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the really good thing for us was that when going out to explore from here you go through the New Forest each time. We would really like to come back to this area again and would be very happy to stay Strawberry Farm Nursery again.

Perfect

Beautiful site. Stayed June 2015 for two nights on the way back from Cornwall to go to beaulieu motor museum. Great for the New Forrest. Lovely friendly welcome, well kept site with lots of room between vans wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful site

Easy access and a very warm welcome.  Pitches are level and the site is well maintained.  Very peaceful and relaxing. On the edge of the New Forest, plenty of walks not too far away. Just an overnight this time but we will hope to come back in the spring.
