Perfect Hideaway
The site is brilliant for those wanting peace and quiet along with being back to nature.
It is a basic site but has plenty of space for 5 units all with EHU, the boxes are well spaced and there are at least 8 hookups available so no problem for those arriving a bit early or wishing to leave a little later with the permission of the owner, at least you can make a brew and sort things out.
Owner is lovely but you will not be hassled by them as they are always busy with bits on the farm so leave you to get yourself sorted and will pop over when they get the chance to get your pitch fees, we were there 6 nights and they only managed to get over on the last evening as they were so busy (I was starting to wonder about how to pay the fees as there is no indication as to where they actually live?)
The site has wonderful views across the rolling landscape with the pitch closest the gates giving a superb view and stunning sunsets every evening through the front windows of the caravan.
We will certainly be using this site again as we still have plenty of geocaching trails to do in the area, if you enjoy walking but without too many hills then this is ideal.
