Basic stop off but felt like a caravan park
I stayed 2 nights in the campsite, on arrival about 5pm I didn't meet anyone but rang the electronic WiFi doorbell where I learnt the warden was not on site. I didn't meet the warden when I was staying at all and had to pay by leaving a questionable amount of money in the letterbox. However this may have 5 pitches but nearby (20m away) there are a lot of caravans with people staying in permanently which I learnt from chatting to them. This site is good for a basic stop off point but note there is no clean and functioning toilet. The warden will say there is one but it is not recommended as it does not look clean or usable. I rate this 2 stars as it has a good view of the river but other pitches didn't have this luxury.
