March 2017 just had a very enjoyable stay on this very peaceful site.

In March had a lovely 3 night stay on this very peaceful CL. Len and Sue were very welcoming and on arrival Len showed us round the farm which even included taking us into the cow shed to meet the new calf born only a couple of hours earlier! Had lovely day in nearby Southwold where we had tea and cake at a lovely cafe right on the beach called Suzies beach cafe. Lovely area for walking. Will definitely be back! Anna & Steve Reynolds

Home from home in Suffolk

This is an excellent CL. It is conveniently located for Ipswich, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds with lots to do in the area. Suffolk Coast, Sutton Hoo, Dunwich, Minsmere reserve are all an easy drive. There is a nice pub (White Horse) which is open all day for food including gluten-free options within walking distance and a regular bus service. This is a level grass site and there is lots of space to spread out. It is peaceful, the A140 is far enough away that the traffic noise is not a problem. The hosts Len and Sue could not be more welcoming. This is a farm site with an interesting collection of animals, which are far enough away from the site that you would not know they are there. Pets are very welcome. Electric hook up is 100% reliable. Good Freeview signal. Small shop and Post Office in the village. BP garage and shop selling Calor Gas about 5 minutes away by car.

Lovely spot!

Just spent four nights here, could easily have been longer as it is in a lovely location with some great walks for the dogs around the site. Grass well mown and a very slight slope, so if you pitch at the top end you get some nice views too. Len was very busy hay making, but still found the time to welcome us and have a chat. We will def visit here again, at £10/night inc EHU it is great value, and so peaceful. The only thing that mysified us it that is was not fully booked, we were the only caravan there, though one did pull in as we were leaving, so would highly recommend a visit! It is also easy to get too as just off the A140 ( but no road noise as sheltered behing the church ) Bonus was we had some lovely weather too!!Perfect.

Really lovely site with the warmest of welcomes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stoke Hall Farm. The genuine kindness shown by Len and Sue is heart warming. The goose egg brought to us on our first morning, swiftly followed by two bottles to feed the lambs could not have set off our stay more perfectly! We had planned on lots of long walks and pub lunches with our dog as we always do but unforeseen health problems meant that I had to really put my feet up and have short walks (down to the lambing shed!!!) Len and Sue were so lovely in letting us spend as long with our new found four legged friends as we wanted to but I was instructed that the caravan would be checked for stowaways as we left!!! The site itself is really lovely next to the church and the views all round are beautiful. There are lots of walks to be done and 3 good pubs within easy walking distance, which hopefully next time we will sample!  We stayed over Easter weekend and had quite a lot of wind and a few torrential downpours, as we felt like we were home from home we were happy just to do nothing for the most part. We left a day early due to the forecast of severe wind on Bank holiday Monday, my husband really didn't fancy towing in it and I'm glad he didn't! When we told Len we were going to leave that evening he offered for us to stay that night and pick the caravan up a few days later so we didn't have to tow as we only live an hour away. A really lovely gesture and if we hadn't of got most of our things packed away we would have taken him up on it. Don't hesitate to book, it's a flat site with plenty of space, just don't book too much so we can't get in!!!! Many thanks for a great stay, Claire and Nick Read and Jasper the black lab! Woof!

BRILLIANT.

One word applies to everything about this site, brilliant. The whole Manning family, lovely flat field, nice walks straight of the site, pretty church. An all round excellent site.

The Warmest Welcome on the Network

The whole Manning family were delightful. We were greeted on arrival and immediately invited to see the lambing shed which was in full swing. The CL site was secure with excellent fencing, spacious and in good condition. The site is in a lovely location next to a very picturesque Church, surrounded by farm land, mainly arable. There are excellent walks for people and dogs, where all our mixed agricultural heritage can be viewed - I think the only thing we did not see was a pig! The main road is just visible, there were no leaves on the trees and the crops were just 'shoots' when we visited in March and so we could also hear the traffic in the background. This minor inconvenience is only mentioned as other wise this CL would be the best on the network - however the welcome and hospitality would have made up for any deficiency - VERY HIGHLY RECOMENDED.

Eye Eye , nice site

Pleasant site level site, easy access, some traffic noise from A140 at times. Water and waste accessible. Very nice owners, invited to see new born calf as we were settling in. We could let our dog play with the gate shut as we were on our own for most of out stay. Area worth exporing, with some attractive towns and villages.

Peaceful & Quiet CL with welcoming owners

On arrival to the site, the owners made themselves known to us and directed us to the CL field. Water facilities and waste are good. Electric is placed around the field so wasn't on top of each other in the large field. Owners have good knowledge of the surrounding area and were able to point us in the right direction for a nice summers drink at the pub! Setting up in the field is easy with the ground being level and water not far away from any of the pitches. The owners are a great asset to this CL, with a friendly manor and allowed people to help them with the running of the farm if they wished. The site is peaceful and quiet and is a lovely get a way.
