A very good site
No complaints here at all. It ticked all our boxes. Warm welcome and easy to book. Clean toilets and showers. Flat large pitches with EHU.
Hornsea about a mile away. Easy access from main road. Dogs welcome - even has a dog walk and all for £12 a night.
What a fantastic site. One we will look forward to returning to.

Enjoyed the weekend here could not agree more with previous comments. will be calling here again as we are motorhomers and use the van all year round, this site is ideal because it is open 12 months.
A Lovely Site
A very warm welcome on arrival. Flat level site with
plenty of space between pitches, water to each pitch was a bonus and good clean facilities.
Within walking distance of Hornsea.
A little road noise but nothing that really bothers you,
Our 1st CL
Being well seasoned 'campists', we decided to buy a van and give it a go. We were enrolled into the club by my fab brother and sister in law. This was our first foray into a CL and I sincerely hope they are all as good as this place. Entry/exit to the site was the easiest I have ever had and the welcome was exceptionally warm. Plenty of room overlooking fishing ponds. We had our own electricity and water points. In addition there was a small, immaculate toilet and shower. A lovely 15 minute walk off roads took us to the beach and town centre. We hope all CLs are this good.

What CLs are all about!
A good half acre of flat grassland with views overlooking the fishing ponds and countryside beyond. Each pitch has dedicated water and electricity and there were spotless toilet and shower facilities to use. Some road noise from the B1242 but forget it - can't be helped and we pitched in middle of field rather than backing onto road. Owners really pleasant and helpful. Hornsea itself is a lovely little town too - I was somewhat surprised - shame on me!
Nice site
The site is level and very nice with views onto the fishing ponds.
There is a convenient little dog walk on the site and just across the road there is a signed footpath for a longer walk.
We ate at the nice pub in Atwick which is good value for money. Also had great fish and chips from Sullivans and were lucky enough to eat them outside. There is also a good butchers and greengrocer in Hornsea. Elaine is lovely and just leave you to get on with it
A friendly stay
A very good CL, close to the coast and several places of interest. The CL is well signposted, easy to access, is flat and no levelling was needed at all. The facilities are well kept and conveniently placed. The welcome was wonderful. Elaine came to see us and explained what there is to see in the area. There was some road noise, but it wasn't intrusive and didn't keep us awake at all. We shall certainly book to go again!
Friendly and welcoming
we have been to this site on a few occasions now, and love it! Elaine and Fred are always very welcoming and it always feels like we are "coming home". Site is and level with ponds which you can fish from or just walk around enjoying the wildlife. Close to Hornsea and just a short drive into Bridlington. Will continue to use this as our regular weekend getaway!

Stayed for 7 nights 2013
Down side no shower block or toilet, road noise because you are right @ the side of the B1242 a little bumpy on entrance uneven ground.
Plus side the site itself is more or less level I did not have to use any levelling blocks
on my pitch you may have to on others ! The grass was cut short & there was no grass cuttings on the ground.
You are @ the side of the road easy access no narrow lanes to go down.
The couple which own the site you could not wish to meet nicer people.
There is 3 small ponds on the site 2 of which are fished they had ducks & geese on.
NOTES FOR DOG OWNERS
From the site there are 2 green lanes you can walk down, the north side of Hornsea beach dogs allowed on all year.
Want to eat out & take the dog with you dogs allowed in marine small tap room inside or seating outside
Flamborough headlands which is located @ flamborough light house dogs inside or out
I will visit this site again
