We really enjoyed our recent 5 night stay at this lovely CL site, which is perfectly situated for exploring the pretty little town of Melrose and the beautiful countryside around it. Others have mentioned road noise but we hardly noticed anything...all we could hear most of the time were the birds singing and the sheep in the neighbouring fields. We stayed on one of the two level grass pitches at the bottom of the site...it’s a little way up the hill to take/collect water and waste, but the trade off was the beautiful outlook and feeling of peace and tranquillity. Sadly we didn’t get to meet Pam, the owner, as she was shielding due to Covid, but she does an excellent job of maintaining this brilliant little site, which is a real credit to the CL network.
