Unplanned stopover

We rang Mrs Lee on the off chance to see if they had availability for a stopover as we were traveling to Cornwall. We had read previous reviews and were aware that this had no EHU, which wasn’t a problem for us. We chose the hard standing which was perfect for the night. Mrs Lee was very welcoming and gave us the relevant information regarding the site and walks. We would definitely use this site again especially as they are open all year.

Basic but good

We used this site as a convenient stopover. As long as you bear in mind that it is a field with no EHU - which perfectly suited us - it is great. It is inexpensive, only a few minutes from Honiton for food and supplies, down a quiet country lane but easy to access from the main trunk roads. Great value for money, and the owner is very welcoming and pleasant. We'd definitely use it again if in the area.

Peaceful Stay

Easily accessed just off a country lane. Fairly level field with short grass. Spent 2 nights here in May and really enjoyed walks to the woods nearby which were carpeted in bluebells. No bells and whistles just a quiet peaceful site at a reasonable price.

Great Stopover Site

We use this site on the long haul from East Kent to Cornwall. Pulling onto the site, just a short distance from A30 is wind-down time after the time spent on A303, especially the section passing Stonehenge. Tesco is not too far away to refuel and stock-up on one or two essentials, having set up the caravan and had a bite to eat. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Whilst the site is basic, it has everything we need and a great field to quickly pitch on. It is very quiet, and quite dark at nightfall, which we like. Our dog loves the field to stretch her legs. This year (2019) will be the 3rd year we've stopped here on our way to Penzance. Peter & Veronica Canterbury

Springfield Farm

Lovely site, flat easily accessed field. Nice and quiet. Brand new toilet and sink in new shed building. Friendly owners. Site is about a minute from the A35 so really accessible - we it found the perfect stop over on the way to Cornwall.
