We stayed here for a few days over the October half term school holidays. The field is wonderfully spacious and well kept. We used it as a base to visit family in the area. The town of Malton is a short distance away with a great range of small shops. There is a bus stop within about 200 yards for the service running from Leeds to Scarborough and Whitby which I'm sure would make for a lovely day out. Overall a quiet site with a friendly owner who couldn't do enough to ensure we were enjoying our stay.
Relaxing weekend break
friendly welcome on arrival, nice well kept site, mown grass, level pitches, close to Malton,if there is a downside its care is neede when leaving the site as its on a bend making it difficult to see oncoming traffic, but its all worth it.
Easter weekend retreat
Me and the wife have been here for our Easter break for the last five years or so and are going again this year. always a friendly greeting on arrival. They always make you feel like part of the family. Ideal quite location (although basic facilities) is clean and tidy and very quiet and peaceful, and is in the centre of various locations to travel to within the hour for day trips out. Recommended for that quiet weekend away anytime of the year. *****
Lovely site
Arrived on a gloriously sunny day and were welcomed in, as they had pitches to spare. The site is on a large flat paddock with a lovely outlook. Those who like horses will love this site. It had all the necessary facilities - but no electric as standard. (There appeared to be a couple of hook-ups available) It was a bargain at £6.50 a night! It was a half hour flat walk into Malton - a pleasant market town. There was an hourly bus service available - more frequent in the summer from Whit week onwards.

Relaxation with a capital R
We stayed at Spring Gardens for about three/four years. We love the idea of pure relaxation in lovely surroundings. Stuart and Teresa and smashing hosts with a lovely smiley welcome. The horses Jacob and Topic are a delight. Plenty of places to visit ie: Malton, Pickering, Whitby, Scarborough. Many eating establishments.
We just love it. Give it a try I'm sure you will too.
