Great site , highly recommended

A very warm welcome from the owner Garry on arrival. He couldn’t do enough for us . Excellent location for market harborough and foxton locks . Great views from pitch . Extremely clean and tidy . Definitely be going back .

Fantastic site.

Garry welcomed us to his new cl. Helped us reverse onto pitch which being new we really appreciated. Very easy to find. Tap and waste on pitch which was great. Lovely views. Watched the gliders from the local club. Dog walks from the site. Flexible on departure so we could visit car show. Market Harborough is a lovely town with good independent cafes and shops. Very clean well maintained site we were very impressed. Will return!

Brilliant

From arrival to leaving , couldn't fault Garry for his friendliness , guidance of what to see and do , local eateries etc .Mkt Harborough an absolute gem of a town , vibrant and busy , plenty of local villages to explore on a menagerie of country/ gated lanes . Will certainly be returning . Outstanding view over the Welland valley from any pitch you choose and fully serviced pitches at that.

Great new CL near Market Harborough

This is a great new CL in Leicestershire ideally placed for exploring the local area which has many places of interest. The CL has been very well laid out with three serviced hardstandings on an upper field and a further two, also serviced hard standing, in a lower field. The owner Garry is very welcoming and has a very fair method of charging for EHU. He puts £5 on a payment card and refunds Any unused amount. This seems a lot fairer than the £8 to £10 some sites are now charging. The site also has lovely views across the countryside.

A true gem

What a lovely site this is. I found it as I was looking for somewhere near a wedding I was attending and so glad I did. A warm welcome from Garry on arrival and he was also very helpful with his local knowledge. The CL is well maintained with all hard standing, water and waste on all the pitches and a good clean Elsan point. Electric hookup is metered but mine came to £3 for a two night stay.

Outstanding....

Our understanding from Garry (who is a top bloke I might add) was that we where one of the first to visit this site and I would encourage anyone to follow our lead. Exceptional site, very well designed with great views, nice places to eat nearby and good dog walking a few minutes from the gate. We've already booked our return.

Peaceful and Relaxing Weekend

First time staying at Southview and will definitely be returning. Lovely open views and very peaceful. Owners very helpful and recommended nice walks and pubs. Managed to spot the red kites every day.
