What a Great Site
We loved this site with it's super friendly welcome and animals in the paddock.
The site only has two pitches now which are both a good size overlooking the paddock with the Alpacas and the chickens. The dogs keep the chickens in order if they look like escaping. The dogs are so friendly and well behaved - Angela has done a marvelous job at training them. You may think that with dogs and a cockerel it would be noisy, but not a bit of it. You can hear the road, but it's not obtrusive and wouldn't bother you unless you were used to living in the middle of nowhere.
We were surprised that we had the site all to ourselves for the four days given how super the weather was. We spent two of the days rambling, then had a long pub lunch down the road on the final day.
The site is very well located for the seaside, with Mudeford and Bournemouth not far away. There is also a large garden center almost opposite with a good cafe, and a really nice pub ten minutes walk down the road.
Regarding access, it's a doddle as you just swing off the decent road that runs towards the front - no last minute nail biting lanes to negotiate.
We hope to come back when it's warmer weather for the beach.
