Peaceful and great location.
Spent a week at this lovely site. The pitches are well drained, all with fantastic views. On our first night, we were greeted by red squirrels who frequently dine in the trees behind some of the pitches thanks to nuts supplied by the owner. There are plenty of walks from the site and the location is excellent for cycling with a cycle route close by which runs along Thirlmere lake. We shall certainly be returning again to this jewel in the Lakes.
