This is one fantastic site which we have visited several times. The owners Jim and Ruth are absolute treasures. The site itself is perfect all round, wonderful views, absolutely great for walking and the icing on the cake is a good bus service,where you can access so many places. It appears it may be one of the few bus routes in the Lake District which will have no cuts. It is one of those sites where you could go back to year after year and not get fed up with as there is so much to do. We always stay for 14 nights and have a large motorhome which we do not move off the site until it is time to leave. When you have exhausted all the walks close to the site,there are so many others to do by using the bus which you catch at the end of the lane,which runs half hourly for part of the year and hourly at other times. This bus runs from Keswick all the way to Lancaster so there are many places to visit inbetween for shopping and walking etc., This is one site we will never tire of.
