Home on the range.
We stopped here for three nights at the beginning of September this year, using it as a base to visit relatives.
The site is easy to find although the final approach lane is a little rough but bear in mind that this is a working centre.
The reception was our first point of contact and we were cheerfully introduced to the site by a member of staff who also tends the tack shop.
There are some hard standing pitches in the first of two available paddocks enclosed be trees and an open grass paddock beyond, each pitch having an electric point. Despite being within the stables complex, the facilities block was spotless.
We opted for a grass pitch and were delighted with open views across paddocks that were occupied by the horses and alive with rabbits in the early morning. this is definitely a site to sit and just chill out. we will certainly be back but next time stay for longer.
