We have just returned from a 2 night stay. Arrival was easy and confirmed by David the day before we arrived, who opened the gate at the agreed time. Gate is always locked with combination lock which you are given on arrival. David was very welcoming and friendly and provided all the information we needed. We were a party of 4 with 2 motorhomes and were able to find the right way to park so that we didn’t need to use levellers. The location is lovely and surrounding area perfect for walks or cycling. We did a 10 mile walk across the fields and along the seafront, Littlestone and Greatstone. We ate out at The Star (pub) on the first night. It’s only about 15 minutes walk across the fields so a torch is definitely needed for the walk if it’s dark! Fortunately our meal there exceeded our expectations. If you go there you’ll see what I mean! This is, without doubt, the nicest, most immaculately kept site we have ever been to. Adults only (bonus!), water and toilet disposal. I think there are toilets in a small shed too but these were not open due to Covid. We have already booked to go again.
