We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of July having booked by phone very last minute. The helpful lady gave us full details on who to contact when we arrived. The pitches are flat and access is easy. This marina side CL is not your usual country CL. It is actually in the middle of an industrial area, but is an oasis of calm. Supermarkets (Asdas, Sainsbury) nearby. The Leggers Inn on site served good food and we enjoyed our meal. We walked into Dewsbury through the industrial area which was littered with rubbish, and Dewsbury town itself was rundown with many closed shops, we were very disappointed. So instead of a day in town we chose to visit Canon Hall Farm which was about a 20 minute drive away, well worth the trip and has a great restaurant. There was some traffic noise, but not intrusive. We felt this was more a CL of convenience and it is not the fault of the owners that the surrounding area was so tatty.
