We booked this site for a long weekend via CL Bookings (Facebook Group) I had a separate short correspondence with Frances Conder before we arrived. In spite of being on site for 3 nights we didn't see or hear from Mark & Frances Conder during our stay, which didn't bother us particularly except that we normally see owners at least once during a stay. The site could do with a bit of TLC in terms of grass cutting and weed control on the pitches. I appreciate that we were at the height of the growing season but if it was previously immaculate (as the photos show) it is not at present. We have an 8m twin axle van towed by a Landrover Discovery and found the access to be "tight", The left turn, immediately over the narrow bridge was a tight turn and entry to the field required manoeuvring and a slight off road to avoid the gate posts. Leaving the field was better but crossing the bridge back to Gressingham required more manoeuvring. If your van is "wide" (not standard width) and a long then be aware that you may damage your pride and joy. All that said, the site is in a beautiful location with lots of cycling around about (be aware of tractors hurtling along the lanes) trips further afield to Arnside/Silverdale/Blackpool and Morecambe are all doable,
