A great place to stay
This was our 2nd visit and the weather was gorgeous which made everything so much better than our previous visit when the weather was non stop stair rods of rain!
A great place to tour locally from, with numerous excellent National Trust locations that are well worth a visit, most especially as for us, they allow dogs to visit with several of them allowing them to be let off their leads.
As for dogs on the site, there is one distinct downside at the site and that is the dogs at the property opposite to the site entrance are allowed to roam freely by their owners from their house, I even found the neighbours cocker spaniel from over the road had jumped over the fence and was running loose, it had also pooped during his visit!!
Dog walking from the site isn't the best, however it proved adequate for our needs as we were always heading out every day for our dogs to have their "zoomies" at other locations.
We will be returning
