This is one of the quietest sites we have stayed on. Access for the last 1/2 mile is very narrow and it is wise to follow the advice given by the site owners for access. The site is sloping but we pitched at an angle so were able to level the van quite easily. It is a large field with easy access to water, hook-up etc. Good re-cycling facilities. Only gripes are: the grass is well maintained but cuttings are not collected so damp grass early moring became a real pain to keep out of the van (we did not have an awning). Also the list of rules/advice given out when we were greeted seemed a bit over the top and detracted from what is a really super site; but it was well meant. I think the owners have had some bad experiences and so try a bit too hard to avoid any more! But they do try hard to keep the site really pleasant. Certainly well worth a visit.
