Warm welcome and beautiful site!

Extremely well kept beautiful site.  Owners are very friendly and helpful. Level site with very good drainage if you are unlucky enough to have heavy rain. The waste water and toilet emptying facilities are very easy to use. We looked at other CL sites in the area while we were here but this is definately the best!

Pretty site

Arrived for 3 nights and decided to stay for an extra night, it was so pretty. The owner is very friendly and helpful.  Lovely walk around the lakes if you don't want to fish and a nice dog walk. There are three friendly horses in the paddock close by and we sat and watched the parachuting out of Headcorn. Only downside is that there is a train track near by but you get used to it. You can also hear the Tiger roar early evening from the distant wildlife sanctuary - not something you get to hear everyday - so unusual. A very pleasant place to stay.

Lovely Site

We booked in for 10 nights and love it so much we are still here (24 nights by the time we leave). We were touring the south east and found this site was very central to most of the places we wanted to visit. The site is very level, dry, extremely well-kept and access is very easy. Beautiful surroundings with access to the fishing lakes where we enjoyed our evening stroll. The owners are very friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to assist you. There is an information kiosk with leaflets, maps and information posters about local events in the area. If in the area again we would definitely stay here.

Fantastic CL

Such a friendly laid back site, best we visited in the summer of 2014.  Good fishing lakes, well kept grounds and we were kept entertained by the parachutists jumping from planes overhead from the local flying school.  Everything was so peaceful and we can't wait to return.

Peaceful site on the Weald

Very laid back atmosphere here in the Kentish Weald, beautiful lakes to wander around, lots of fisherman here around the lakes, so beautiful and quiet, only noise was from train tracks a field or two away (main line to London).  First Cl we have stayed on, will be back!

1st May bank Holiday 2014

We arrived after dark and drove past the site as all the signs were for “Sams Lakes” and not Roland House Farm after turning back and driving slowly we found it! Because we arrived after dark we were put on a large excellent hard standing area, next morning because the ground was wet and we are heavy, we were placed in our own paddock. The site is large and presumably there are two CL together. We were well looked after by friendly owners. Would we use the site again? Yes. Rating 9/10

Superb site

A great CL. Beautifully kept, extremely clean and tidy with very friendly owners. The site is within superb countryside and almost next to a wildlife sanctuary so whilst sat outside you can hear lions and tigers roaring!!! An absolute must to return to especially if you enjoy fishing.

Perfect CL

We have just returned from a lovely weekend at this site, it is very well kept throughout, all the grass is like a well kept lawn with lots of space. A beautiful site with nice lakes, the owner is very friendly & welcoming. The entrance & access to the site is good, there are lots of interesting villages & places to visit nearby - or just sit outside your caravan and watch the air acrobatics from nearby Headcorn airfield, as we did. We certainly recommend this CL and will return to it very soon.
