First CL for us in over 40 years of caravanning. Usually aim for the CAMC or adult only type sites but needed a specific site in this general location near Ross-on-Wye that we wanted to explore. Reading all the reviews and we were hooked for sure and Rock point CL didn't disappoint one bit. First time also for us using our own caravan facilities but that turned out to be great too! Rock points waste disposal points were absolutely excellent so that all helped for sure! Just read the other reviews for everything about the views and where to visit - all true - brilliant views and area, loads to do and all close by. Netty and Ben......and the plethoro of fantastic looking crested ducks [same haircut as my young nephew - yep, I sent him a photo!] and geese and chickens and...phew!....I can go on....were simply superb! The welcome from Netty & Ben - wow! - what lovely people they are!!! Looked after us sooo well! The whole week for us was superb...oh yeah...nearly forgot.....last Thursday night...clear sky....Milky Way visible plus 2 shooting starts and 3 satellites......one satellite might have been a plane tbh, lol! Awesome!!! Definitely going back to see everyone plus the lovely new caravan friends we made on the other 4 pitches...lovely, lovely people! This site has also inspired us to look for more CL's too which has to be a good recommendation for North Point CL. All in all......perfect....thanks Netty & Ben.
