We visited this site for a 4 night stay in late October. The site is pristine, with water and EHU on each pitch. The views, from all aspects are wonderful. Rolling countryside and distant hills. Ben and Netty are truly delightful people offering a warm welcome to their little piece of heaven. The pitches are mostly level but some leveling will be required. The gorund is sand, so drains well even after heavy rain but we did have some wheel spin in our Moho on leaving the site. We carry old mats for such eventualities and with these in place moving off the pitch was not a problem. The elsan point is quite possibly the cleaninst we have ever seen as is the rubbish and recycling facility. We had good mobile signal on both 3 and Vodafone. The eggs from the site are totally delicious and I would reccomend anyone to purchase them, even if you are taking them home. Ben and Netty are to be praised very hgjhly indeed for this CL, it deserves to be a huge success. We will defeninetly return when we are in the area again. There is no road noise!! During our stay the only 'road noise' was from the tiny lane which runs up alongside the site from the occasional tractor/farm vehicle. The weir at the bottom of the valley can be heard and is definitely worth the walk down to see it, it's beautiful. If you are looking for peace and tranquility, this is the CL for you.
