Our first return visit to Ben and Netty priced just as enjoyable as our first. We were blessed with 5 days of early-Spring weather and the loveliest of welcomes from Ben and Netty. They have continued to develop the site with excellent hard standing and "privacy hedging" between the 3 lower pitches. On this trip we discovered the Pengethley Farm Shop. The steaks and wild boar sausages were delicious. The Londis, at Peterstow, is well stocked if you need routine provisions and conveniently, just down the road is the Yew Tree Inn. Owned and operated by the Wye Valley Cider and Perry Company, they provide an excellent and enthusiastic introduction into their bespoke range of ciders and Perry's. You may want to take a "nominated driver" with you. And, if that were not enough, you must meet Ben and Netty's latest addition, Eric the Boxer. Can't wait to be back.
