Spot On

The whole ambience of this CL was one of peace, friendliness and assistance. The site is set in effectively the property of the owner and is obviously treated as such. At one end of the site is a little river which has fish and there are several places on the site to relax and have a drink etc and one is beside the river. The grass is mowed, everything is tidy - it's just fab. The owners, Roger and Michelle are tirelessly helpful without being intrusive, and in my case significantly went the extra mile to help. Adjacent to the site there is a dog walking area and there are so many things to do in the area. I recommend this site to you without reservation. Paul Haynes

Looking forward to next visit.

A beautiful level site near to Wells. Site is very well maintained with excellent Wi-Fi a recreation ground is a short walk away. Plenty to see and do in the area. Very welcoming and helpful owners who are keen to make your stay enjoyable. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We will definitely be back.

Best CL of our 3 week tour in England this year

We booked for 3 nights at this well situated CL between Wells and Glastonbury. We enjoyed it so much that we booked an extra 2 nights. The owners are so welcoming and cannot do enough to help you. It's a realtively new venture for them and they have got off to a great start. There is so much to do and see in the near vicinity and public transport is excellent if required.Ten out of ten to them for helping to make Somerset our new favourite English County. Perfect CL with the warmest welcome!

It would be impossible to overstate what a gem of a CL Riverside is! A beautiful, relaxed, immaculate and peaceful site in a beautiful and well situated spot in the Somerset countryside. We were there for two weeks and would very happily have stayed longer. Michelle and Roger and Barnaby the dog give THE warmest of welcomes, it is no exaggeration to say nothing is too much trouble. We arrived as guests and left as friends. We will return!

Absolutely Stunning

So glad to have picked this beautiful site, its immaculate and the owners' wish to improve further. Lots of seating areas to enjoy and soak in the relaxing atmosphere, clean and organised waste and recycling facilities. Lovely owners and pups, would love to stay again when next in the area.

Brilliant CL site

We have just had a wonderful stay on the Riverside CL site. Set in Michelle and Roger's peaceful grounds. A river running along by the site. Well fenced off. The hosts could not have been more helpful and made us most welcome. Several seating area's to relax. The area was perfect to some beautiful places to visit. Will certainly return next year. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Great CL - would recommend!

Spacious garden site. Beautiful surroundings. Well laid out and well maintained. Warm welcome. WiFi available. Would recommend!

Great site and location

I made a late booking with Roger and Michelle. Everything went very smoothly. Roger and Michelle met us when we arrived and gave us a choice of pitches. They keep the site immaculate. The site was beautiful and the best we have stayed at. There were extra seating areas around the site we could use. We loved the indoor area. Although there is no shower/toilet block, this didn't matter as we have these in our caravan. We were close to the water tap and were allowed to attach our hose to it so didn't have to keep filling the barrel - bonus! The site is so convenient for local attractions including the Glastonbury Tor, Cheddar Gorge and shopping at Clarke's Village! We would definitely recommend this site to friends and return.

Cannot rate highly enough

Great communication from hosts, extremely warm welcome on arrival - lovely, kind and friendly people. Great site so quiet and we loved having breakfast sitting by the river. Large play area very close by. No noise during the night. Bus stops within a few minutes walk going in both directions. A great base to explore a lovely area, we only wish we had been able to stay longer. Really looking forward to returning both with and without the children! A wonderful location. Thank you x

Best CL we've stayed on

Echo all of the previous reviews. The information sent on booking was excellent, the welcome very good and informative. Roger and Michelle are great hosts and the site is immaculate and so peaceful and relaxing. Easy access on bus to Glastonbury, Wells and beyond. Barnaby the dog and the next door sheep are very friendly! All in all a perfect place to stay.
