This is a splendid site with great views across the valley to Battle. We were made very welcome by Mrs Castle and we quickly settled in to a peaceful weekend. The local Pub in Catsfield did an amazing deal on Friday evenings with any main course for £5. The site is slightly slopping so chocks are needed but there is plenty of space and the grounds are well kept. The toilet block is adequate and not up to Club site standards but as we prefer to use our own facilities this did not bother us. There is a little road noise but it was not enough to disturb us. Upon departure we were assisted with leaving the site onto the main road which is on a bend, a cheery wave and a wish for a safe journey completed our stay. I highly recommend this site.
