A wonderful place to stay

We have stayed at this CL four times now and have always had a really relaxing time. There is a warm welcome from the owners who are always ready with any help and information needed. A bonus is the 95 bus route which stops right outside the site. The facilities are always clean and well maintained. There is a shop selling a wide range of fruit and vegetables, farm fresh eggs and delicious cakes and ice cream. There is a bric a brac sale and the money made helps to support rehomed ponies Brandon, Toffee and Oscar. We enjoyed seeing the seven new kuni kuni piglets. The site has superb views over the apple and plum orchard towards Battle. We cannot rate this site more highly and have already planned our next visit.

Friendly and good views

We actually stayed next door to the parrot and never heard a thing from her! However the geese and dogs nearby certainly made up for it. However, the position of the site meant we had a lovely free view over the orchard and distant hills with an immaculate toilet/shower block. Free use of the herb boxes was good too and the produce in the farm shop was very healthy. Will definitely go again as there is so much to do in the area.

Great break

We have just returned from Redcoat Orchards and have had the perfect weekend. Great views from our caravan windows and peace and quiet..... We were made very welcome, including our parrot. Would highly recommend.....

A great place to do Battle.

A well organised and popular site on the southern outskirts of Battle. The site is on a sandy ridge and faces north-east. The pitches are all on grass and slightly sloping in both directions. Moles are to be found throughout the site so be aware that there may be holes.. A good shower block has plenty of hot water. Produce, s/h books and bric-a-brac can be purchased from the farm shop. A woodland walk is available through the orchard, to a summer house overlooking a fishing pond. There is a 40 min walk/bridleway into Battle Abbey (English Heritage).

Apple lovers heaven

Loved this site.. Fantastic views over the orchard. There is some road noise but not enough to disturb. The beagles from the local hunt down the road made more noise. Great walk into Battle across the fields if you turn left and walk 5 minutes down the road first. Plenty of interesting places to visit nearby.

A great CL

We love this CL site, always a warm welcome & views to talk about for weeks on end. Simply a good location well looked after what more can you wish for. The fact we have used this site several times a year for some years now speaks for itself This CL really does the owners proud.
