As first time caravanners we looked for a site not too far from home and chose Quarry hill after reading other reviews. Our welcome was warm and friendly. The site is beautifully maintained and the views are gorgeous. We were lucky to have lovely sunny spring weather which made it easy to appreciate the surroundings. There are lovely walks from the site through the woods to an old ruined estate, I was even lucky enough to spot some deer. The surroundings are very tranquil. As first timers I don't have anything to compare the facilities to but they were perfect for us. The site toilet was clean and easily accessed. We will definitely be back to this site in the very near future as it's perfect for a weekend getaway to recharge the batteries.
