Great little site

What a gem of a site. We have just had our 5th stay on this lovely little site. We have stayed winter & summer. Hard standing available .It is a working farm so occasionally they have sheep in the field next door ,which we find delightful. Beautiful views over the fields. 10 mins walk to Scotney castle which is a must. you can walk the grounds free of charge and even go in the coffee shop. 2 great pubs 5 mins walk. 10 min walk to the local village. 5 mins drive to bewl water. Lovely owners . Very friendly. EHU and water .

Dissapointing

After reading the other reviews I must have been to another site. Due to the weather the main field was roped off which is perfectly understandable but with 3 vans squeezed into the 'parking area' there was very limited space and I didn't even have enough room to park my car next to the van. The other area was very busy with what seemed to be builders staying on site. Access to local amenities is good and the surrounding scenery is stunning with unspoilt views of the country. Will not be going back.

perfect cl

we visited this cl in March of this year, 2019 and it was superb. we were there mostly by ourselves and it was perfect. you could miss the entry if you dont look as there are several businesses at the drive entrance and it can seem confusing but once in the driveway, you just follow the drive round. the gates may need to be opened wider but its not an issue. the field has a secure dog walking field next to it which is perfect too. Owners are extremely helpful and friendly and i would definitely go back when visiting kent area. a little gem

Great CL

Well kept CL and a very welcoming host. EHU cable available to borrow if furthest away from EHU. Ask for pitch 1 for total privacy. Surrounded by wildlife and very peaceful. Actually charging £13.00 per night. Great location for Bewl Water and Scotney Castle.

Our First CL Experience

For our first visit to a CL site with our new caravan, we were very lucky to come across this site. The lawn is very well maintained and there is a field next door for exercising the dog. The owner, Tracey, was very helpful and gave us a series of maps for our walks. The amount and variety of walks will keep you going for a while, and would recommend Scotney Castle and Bewl Water which are both dog friendly and within easy walking distance (you do need to negotiate the B2100 for a few hundred yards if walking to Bewl). A couple of very nice pubs within 10 mins walk too. We will definitely be back again!

Good Value

We spent a peaceful weekend here in November. The field looked very soft but the hard area (only really room for 3 vans) was perfect for our motorhome. The owners are very friendly and it's good value at £10 including hook-up. Nearby is Bedgebury Pinetum which has excellent mountain bike trails, both singletrack and an easier family route. Also even nearer is Bewl Water good for walking and the track around the water is open for mountain bikes too but in summer months only.

Great value!

Stopped here for 2 nights just before Xmas. The main field was very wet and had been roped off by the owners. There is a sufficient hard standing area near the access rode which is ideal for motorhomes. I will look forward to returning in the summer when the rain has stopped. The owners were very nice and accommodated our late arrival. The paddock and surronding fields are great for dog walking..... lots of rabbits and deer at night!! Plenty to see locally. NT, Bewl water, Battle, and only 25mins to the coast!
