What a little gem

What a really nice CL site. As it was summer we pitched in the field opposite the horses and were the only ones there. Spent ages watching a pair of hares in the field beyond the horses and sheep. The pub in Arlingham (The Red Lion) was top notch. We ate there on the Saturday night and could not fault the food. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. The Passage Inn close by was being refurbished. Walks from the site were very good and our dog was pleased with the choice. We did a trip out to Purton to see the Ship Graveyard. There is a car park next to the canal at Purton. Such a quiet place and a little gem. Thank you Rachael and Phil
