We survived Storm Callum at Parkers Patch!

We survived Storm Callum at Parkers Patch with the awning up! I was a little worried but the site is well sheltered and has excellent drainage. Each pitch has it's own electricity, fresh water and grey water drainage - don't forget your potable hose, we did :-( We were the only people on the site but there would be plenty of room between pitches. Parkers Patch is well situated for Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Ludlow and Ironbridge - we also went to the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley. There is so much to see in the area and we managed to visit 4 National Trust properties, along with two castles, a ruined abbey, a steam train, 5 museums at Ironbidge and the RAF Museum at Cosford. We were very much left to our own devices but there is CCTV in case of trouble. Chia and Perk were very hospitable and we would recommend the site to anyone.

Fabulous!

Wow what a find! We had perfect weather. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and provided maps, walk suggestions and an adapter for our hose. The site is tranquil, beautiful, easy to access and perfect for a quiet retreat.
