So glad that I read a recommendation for this site on Facebook. We stayed here last week and were the only ones on site for 4 days. We received a lovely welcome from Mark and Kim on arrival and they showed us to the CL. Large hedged pitches and we chose one overlooking the field. Metered electric which worked out at £6 for 4 days. Mark has cut a path around the wildflower meadow, a 5 acre field, which is lovely for an evening stroll seeing deer and all the bird life. Village shop and post office within a mile, some great little lanes for cycling, which we did a lot of to explore the area. It is a working farm which Mark gave us a tour of and their plans for the future. There is even a sauna and hot tub which can be booked for a small fee. A great site, well cared for in a lovely area which we will definitely return to.
Well thought out CL
I cannot understand why, for the first time in our 47 years membership of the club, we have had 10 days on a CL on our own? This CL deserves better use.
The CL is relatively new (4 years) and is well laid out with 5 hedge separated pitches with metered EHU to each. Yes, there are CLs with more spectacular views, but, pitch dependent, there are good views across fields to the West. We saw Red Kites above regularly and the local Barn Owl most days. It provides an excellent base from which to explore North Norfolk. Well stocked village shop less than half a mile away and large supermarkets in Dereham 9 miles) & Swaffham (11 miles).
Very little road noise and, in our experience, RAF Marham fighters overhead only once per day.
Yes it is an all grass site, of which, clearly, some caravanners are wary, but we were told, it’s a foot of soil on a gravel base, so has excellent drainage. Yes, it is a working farm which can mean machinery & animal noise and, as this farm has pigs, which can mean smells (Mark has made that very clear in his site description). We were not disturbed by noise or smells although admittedly, smells may be obvious with a north westerly wind. There is no WiFi for those who need it - we have sufficient data to cope.
Mark is extremely caring and friendly - he phoned us en route to double check we were aware of access details and then, after a thunderstorm and accompanying. (Short lived) gale, came over to check all was still well with us. Also, very kindly, during our stay, gave us 3 or 4 lbs of newly dug potatoes! All this for £17 pn. Electricity came in at under £2 per day, using a toaster daily, water heater daily and occasional use of an 800w hob & an 800w oven. Radio every evening and occasional TV & chargers. Fortunately, temperatures meant no heating was needed.
We’re usually looking for somewhere different for our trips, but love this area and will certainly be back in the future, particularly to this CL!
Second time and Even better
Stayed here before in 2020 when site was just new. Our second visit last weekend was even better than the first.
We were welcomed by Mark in grand style. We were his first visitors of the season and we had the site to ourselves, Mark went straight out and cut us a dog walk around the perimeter of an adjacent large field. That's what I call service!!
The pitches are now well defined, separated by small fir hedges which have grown well since our last visit. The facilities, fresh water and chemical waste disposal are extremely handy the latter being well screened by well kept fir hedges.
Electric hook up is provided on a metered basis and the pitch areas are well maintained and pretty level. On the second day we were treated to an impromptu tour of the various sections of the farm during which Mark outlined his plans for facilitating educational visits for local Primary School Children. We were also shown the working of his business providing wood for log burners and his pig pens in the large barn adjacent to the site
Our reason for visiting was to attend our granddaughter's 18th birthday nearby. The site is well placed for visiting the North Norfolk coast (about 35mins drive away. We will definitely return next time we visit this part of the world

Lovely site and lovely people!
We needed somewhere to test out our new caravan, and we struck lucky! Great communication before we arrived and the best welcome we have ever had at a CL. Mark and Kim are just the nicest and most genuine of people. We set up the van with the water, rubbish and elsan emptying all well set up and very convenient. The site enjoys countryside views and we had an stunning sunset on our second evening. We were shown around the farm and saw the pigs, soon to be "maize maze" and Kim and Mark shared their exciting future plans for the farm. The area has lovely villages, pubs and walks nearby and also the coast is a short journey away. All this at a sensible price. We will certainly be back for more. Thanks for having us.
First trip with a dog
Just spent 2 nights on this delightful working farm
We recently got a puppy and so realised our trips away with our new addition would be different! We love Norfolk and this CL is well placed for visiting both the coast and inland .
Mark and Kim were so friendly and welcoming .
Own shower and toilet are needed .Pitches are well cared for and have lovely views across fields .
Sure we will be back
Thank you

Perfect for us.
Mark and Kim are excellent hosts from arrival to departure. The site is on a working farm, most pitches are level but low ramps may be required for motorhomes. The site is well kept and well thought out so adequate space between pitches makes it feel safe. There is a fresh water tap, grey water/toilet disposal and recycling. Own toilet and shower required. We had a lovely 3 week stay, plenty to do within easy driving distance, supermarkets 15 min drive. There is an excellent Fish and Chip shop in the village. If in this area again would not hesitate to use this site.

Return Vist
Great to be back on this site usual friendly welcome from Mark & Kim it was like we had never left. Everything nice and green and ship shape. Unfortunately we could only stay for 3 days this time due to other commitments would have liked to have stayed longer.
This is a very well kept CL and is worth a visit very close to a lot of local attractions . We will return again soon.
Lovely peaceful stay
We had a lovely welcome from Mark and Kim. Mark showed us where to fill our water tank and which pitch we were on and then left us to settle in. The pitch is large and mostly flat. Grass was recently mowed short. Nar Valley Way edges the site and so is good for walking. Great for watching bats circle around us in the evening as the sun is going down. We will definitely return to this one as a local bolt-hole for us.
Recent stay
Just spent 6 nights on this new CL , its a nice reasonably level grass site very peaceful with good views over the fields. We where welcomed by Kim and Mark who where very friendly and helpful . There is a village shop which is reasonably stocked 15 minute walk away also there is a very nice Fish and Chip shop in Litcham 5 minutes away by car from the site . Will certainly return
Excellent C.L.
Mark and Kim were excellent hosts. We stayed for 10 nights the pitches were well defined and of a good size. Lovely views over the paddocks very quiet and we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquillity. We certainly recommend this C.L. and will definitely be going back for a return visit.
